How does the competition work?
Teams work through the weekend to submit a concept after 48 hours. The competition runs over a Friday evening, all day Saturday until late in the evening and Sunday until about 5pm.
Participants can compete for local prizes and/or national prize categories. The prize categories are announced on the Friday evening.
Teams require individuals with a range of different skills so if you’re not a coder you can still participate.
A data mentoring event called Data Connections is held before the competition. Participants can talk to data experts about the available datasets on www.data.sa.gov.au.
We provide everything you’ll need (BYO laptop) to create to your heart’s content, for glory, or money, or both!
