Teams are eligible for some great prizes from  both GovHack and Local Unleashed prizes, in addition to honour and fame.  Prize categories are not announced until 7pm Friday the 3rd July 2015.

An entry can be anything that uses open data in a clever and creative way. It might be an application, an analysis, data visualisation, a 3D printed or laser cut representation of data, a digitised project or anything that fits the spirit of GovHack and Unleashed.

Competition entries must use Official Government Data announced closer to the competition.

An entry must meet the eligibility criteria for the specific prize category  nominated by your team. This may include the use of specific datasets.

Entries are required to be submitted 5pm Sunday 5 July (South Australia Time).

Lodging your entry

A HackerSpace will be available on the weekend to register yourself, your team and your hack(s).

Eligible entries must have

  • a descriptive  project page you make in HackerSpace
  • the 3 minute video you submit (link to actual Vid must be lodged on your project page) and
  • the source (code/schema/design) you provide.

Be prepared and leave yourself enough time on the weekend to fill out the project page and to make a short video that best shows off your project.  History tells us you should start loading your Vid at least 1 hour before the 5pm deadline!
