This exciting new social web application allows the public to meet up with people in their community and participate in fun activities. Anyone can host an activity for free.  This is a great  tool  you can use to host or find local personal trainers, yoga classes, dance, recreation and other social events. Why not promote your events to encourage attendance to your sporting activity or social event.

Social Active provides you access to details of thousands of sporting clubs, parks and recreation facilities in your local area by using our interactive Google Map locator which shows the icon for each type of activity in their area. This data is sourced from data.sa the Government of South Australia Open Data Directory and includes Local Council  and community data.

The concept Social Active was the recipient of the Unleashed  Open Data Competition  Premier’s Award  in 2013.  The award  was offered to  the competition entry  to  support development for commercial  and  community use.
